Counselling offers a supportive and collaborative space to explore what is happening in your life, understand your experiences more deeply, and consider new ways forward.
Through thoughtful conversation and reflection, counselling can help you make sense of emotions, relationships, recurring patterns, difficult experiences, and periods of change. It is not about being told what to do. Instead, we work together to understand what matters to you and support choices that feel meaningful and aligned.

People may seek counselling for many different reasons, including:
• anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm
• low mood, self-doubt, or reduced confidence
• grief, loss, or significant life changes
• relationship or family difficulties
• trauma and the ongoing impact of past experiences
• identity, self-understanding, and personal development
• difficulty identifying or expressing emotions
• recurring patterns or limiting beliefs
• neurodivergence and navigating a world that may not always meet your needs
• disability-related experiences and changes in independence, relationships, or identity
• feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes nextYou do not need to be in crisis or have a diagnosis to benefit from counselling. You may simply feel that something needs attention, understanding, or room to change.

My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and grounded in the belief that you are the specialist in your own life.
Rather than applying a single method to every person, I draw from psychotherapy, relational inquiry, nervous-system awareness, and more than fifteen years of therapeutic practice. Together, we can explore not only what has happened, but how it has shaped your emotions, relationships, beliefs, and ways of being in the world.
The therapeutic relationship is central to this work. Sessions offer space to feel heard, deepen self-understanding, recognise patterns, and consider new possibilities for change.
-
Sessions are collaborative and responsive to what you bring.
We may explore a current concern, a significant experience, an emotional or relational pattern, or a change you are trying to navigate. I may listen, reflect, ask questions, notice themes, or offer another way of understanding what is emerging.
There is no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what to talk about. We can begin with what feels most present and work from there, at a pace that supports safety, trust, and meaningful change.
