A conversation with the body, exploring emotion, subconscious patterns and the beliefs we live by.

Kinesiology is a conversation with the body. Using gentle muscle monitoring as biofeedback, it explores the relationship between emotional stress, subconscious beliefs, patterns, and the body’s responses.
Therapeutic kinesiology draws on both Eastern healing principles and Western understandings of the body, using muscle monitoring to help identify areas of stress or imbalance that may not be immediately apparent through conscious thought alone.
At Folk n Fable, I practise Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology (EMK), a remedy-based approach that works particularly with emotions, fear, stress, subconscious belief patterns, and imbalances within the body’s energy systems.
A variety of balancing techniques and remedies may then be used to help restore balance and support the body’s natural capacity for regulation, integration, and healing.

Kinesiology may assist with a wide range of emotional, mental, physical, and energetic stress patterns, including:
• anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm
• recurring life patterns or limiting beliefs
• low self-esteem or self-worth
• fatigue or feeling out of balance
• difficulty processing emotions or past experiences
• relationship or family challenges
• physical tension, discomfort, or unexplained symptoms
• feeling stuck, blocked, or uncertain about the next step in life -
People often seek kinesiology to support greater awareness, balance, and wellbeing. Benefits may include:
• improved emotional regulation
• greater clarity and self-understanding
• releasing stress held in the body
• shifting limiting beliefs and subconscious patterns
• increased energy and resilience
• deeper connection between mind, body, and emotions
• feeling more aligned, calm, and centred -
A kinesiology session begins with a short intake where we discuss your current concerns and clarify what you would like to work on.
Muscle monitoring also helps identify where imbalances are showing within the body’s energy systems, such as the chakras, meridians, Five Elements and auras. A session may lead us into one system or move across several, depending on what your body indicates and what there is time to explore.
Once the source of stress is identified, specific remedies and balancing techniques are used to help restore balance. These may include acupressure, energetic balancing, tapping, flower essences, essential oils, colour, sound, crystals, affirmations or other remedies indicated by the body.
Sessions are collaborative, respectful, and paced to support your body’s natural capacity for regulation and healing.
